本講習は、鉛危険評価者（Risk Assessor）を対象としたものです。建物の内や外に存在する鉛の危険性を特定してリスク評価を実施し、適切な管理方法（除去、封じ込め、維持管理等）を選定・計画するための知識と判断力の習得を目的としています。
This training course is designed for lead risk assessors. Its purpose is to equip participants with the knowledge and judgment necessary to identify lead hazards present inside and outside buildings, conduct risk assessments, and select and plan appropriate management methods (removal, containment, maintenance, etc.).

本講習では、米国環境保護庁（EPA）の規則に基づくリスク評価手法、管理計画書の作成要件、長期的な管理戦略の策定方法について学び、日本の制度とは異なる米国の管理計画制度の考え方を理解します。JEGS(日本環境管理基準)では、鉛に関する管理計画プログラムを作成及び管理を実施することになっているため、通常、そのポジションにつく担当者がこの資格を必要としています。
Participants will study risk assessment methodologies, management plan development requirements, and long-term management strategies in accordance with the regulations of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), and will gain an understanding of the U.S. management planning framework, which differs from Japanese systems. Under JEGS (Japanese Environmental Governing Standard), installation are responsible for creating and managing lead management programs; therefore, individuals in these positions typically require this qualification.
